Frilled Lizard
This beaded full sized Chlamydosaurus Kingii lizard from the Australian outback fearlessly protects its surroundings with its frill fully extended to aid it in its intimidation toward any threat that might come its way. This frilled lizard is 17 inches tall and the frill is 11 inches across. Each individual bead was hand selected to form the unique pattern of the lizard's scales. A beaded Golden Drum Cicada, which measures 3-inches in length and 1 1/2-inches wide, joins the frilled lizard on the piece of natural driftwood as if it is hiding from the lizard and other predators that would find it a tasty treat |
